The Northeast Wisconsin Grief Network provides these resources because they have been suggested by grieving people who found them useful. The Network does not endorse or assume responsibility for any outcome if a person uses a resource on this list. 

GENERAL SUPPORT GROUP LISTINGS

GriefShare Support Groups                                                         www.griefshare.org

 

GriefShare is a national program that trains local people to become bereavement support group facilitators. These support groups are for any type of loss and can be for recent or past deaths.

​

These groups run for many weeks in a row.

​

Attendees do not need to attend every week and can join or leave at any time. Attendees often receive an educational workbook when you attend the group. Most groups do not charge to attend, but some do.

Comfort Zone Camp

​

Comfort Zone Camp is a nonprofit bereavement organization that transforms the lives of children who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling, primary caregiver, or significant person. Our programs are free of charge and include trust-building activities and age-based support groups that break the emotional isolation grief often brings.  Offered to children aged 7-17, young adults aged 18-25 and separate parent and guardian programs.
